Production Manager Training

Usually 5-days long, the Production Manager training is aimed at crew who are about to step up to Production Manager in HETV, Production Coordinators who would like to know more or AD’s, Location Crew or members of other departments who would like to make the move across to the Production Office. This training has been run for ScreenSkills.

The course can be adjusted for time and budget limitations. Additional modules can be added for a better understanding of accounts workflows, and production team structure for crew who have not worked in the production office before.

  • Production Team Management
  • Principles of Scheduling
  • Departmental Schedules: Art, Construction, Dressing, Rigging
  • Managing the Departments & Budgets
  • Managing Up: Producers, Directors & Execs
  • Cast Deals: Engagements & Residuals
  • Interpreting Cast Deals and Obligations
  •  Working With Children

Fees for Standard Delivery

5 training-days and 1x prep-day at £500+VAT per day

Total £3,000 +VAT

  • Max Class Size: 15-25 depending on participant experience
  • Delivery on zoom or face-to-face

Changes to the course may attract additional prep days, but bespoke versions are available on request.
